Since 1989, it has been our privilege to serve various district courts in Kentucky. Over the years, we have served over 35,000 probationers. Of these probationers, 90% successfully completed all terms of their probation. In fact, over 95% of our probationers pay 100% of fines owed during their time with us. We are currently monitoring over 4,000 probationers. Over 95% of these people are on track to successfully complete their probation.
During this time we have learned and grown. Our experiences have taught us that the demands placed upon the court are great and far-reaching. The Commonwealth is not always capable of providing the resources necessary to meet these demands.
The needs of the various courts differ widely, depending upon the region and the nature of the most common offenses. Available resources also vary from one area to another. Consequently, we at Kentucky Alternative Programs have worked diligently to become the tool judges and prosecutors need to help their courts become more efficient and effective.
If there is a need that is not being met in your court or a necessary service that is not being provided to people who appear before you, we would enjoy the opportunity to discuss possible alternatives with you. If you have questions about our services, please contact us.
Should you wish to discuss our activities with some of your colleagues, we are currently providing services in Campbell, Kenton, Boone, Carroll, Grant, Owen, Franklin, Anderson, Hardin, Boyle, Mercer, Scott, Woodford, Madison, and Clark counties.
